MEP Drafter Role Description
A skilled drafter with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is required. We are seeking an experienced MEP Drafter to handle a range of responsibilities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare coordinated MEP drawings based on design inputs and site conditions. These include plans, sections, and details.
- Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical, air-conditioning, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
- Update drawings based on consultant/client feedback and ensure timely revisions.
- Maintain organized drawing files and logs. Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and project specifications.
- Assist in material take-offs (MTOs) or bill of quantities (BOQ) when required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD software. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of MEP services layout, installation sequencing, and coordination principles. Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
