APAC Regional Legal Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Legal Advisor to support our growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a strategic advisor, enabling compliant business growth through expert legal counsel.
  • Provide timely guidance on commercial, market access, supply chain, medical, compliance, and privacy matters.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product launches and day-to-day operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
  • Support interactions with healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and healthcare entities, ensuring alignment with global standards and local laws.
  • Advise on governance, licensing, and regulatory requirements across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China Mainland.
  • Contribute to regional legal initiatives, including process optimization and knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance to ensure a strong, integrated framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Law degree from a recognized university and qualified to practice in at least one key APAC jurisdiction.
  • 10+ years of experience in life sciences (in-house or top-tier firm).
  • Deep understanding of APAC regional laws and regulations.
  • Experience drafting third-party agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and anti-bribery frameworks.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese required; additional APAC language skills a plus.
