Lead Credit Strategist

Job Overview:

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute significantly to the organization's success by assuming the role of Lead Credit Analyst. As a key team member, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit reviews and analyses to ensure accurate risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing and potential borrowers to provide independent and impartial credit risk assessment.
  • Presentation of annual and quarterly "Credit Review" to senior management, highlighting stipulated framework and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Support credit rating applications proposed by the Credit Investment Department, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Maintenance of monthly reports detailing disclosure and receipt of financial statements, as well as completion of Credit Reviews and CRR reviews within established timelines.
  • Preparation of self-review checklists to track departmental work schedules and progress.
  • Collaboration with Head Office regarding credit control, including communication via email or telephone when necessary.
  • Organization and coordination of Credit Committee Individual Proposal/Monthly meetings, preparing and circulating meeting minutes while maintaining original materials.
  • Research and report generation on credit issues relevant to the branch's credit portfolio.
  • Training, mentoring, and oversight of junior colleagues to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Participation in driving CC Department's shift towards individual assumption practices that promote accountability and good conduct.
  • Support for the Head of Department in achieving departmental targets.
