Culinary Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary leader to join our team as an Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, the ability to manage a high-pressure kitchen environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 6+ years of culinary education
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
  • Proficient knowledge of human resources management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines

About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes
  • Coordinate cooks' tasks
  • Implement hygiene policies and examine equipment for cleanliness
  • Design new recipes, plan menus, and select plate presentations
  • Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives
  • Hire and train kitchen staff
  • Perform administrative tasks, including stocktaking and purchasing
  • Set and monitor performance standards for staff
  • Obtain feedback on food and service quality and handle customer complaints
Requirements
  • 6+ years of culinary education
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
