Job Title:
Dim Sum Department Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Dim Sum Department Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Dim Sum Department. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Dim Sum Department, including preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and serving customers.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and safety by implementing effective procedures and controls.
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen assistants to achieve exceptional results.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.


Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in traditional Cantonese/Teochew cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese/Teochew languages.
