As a Manager of Entertainment and Training Standards, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring high-quality entertainment and recreation activities.

Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and operational processes for entertainment and recreation activities. This will involve establishing quality standards, conducting audits to ensure compliance, and driving continuous improvement aligned with guest experience expectations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing onboarding, succession planning, and talent development for Youth Activities, Entertainment Hosts, and Leadership roles. You will also oversee documentation, compliance with maritime regulations, and integration with safety/security protocols.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety protocols, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with eLearning content creation and training initiatives is also highly valued.

About the Role

  • Develop and deliver training programs for shipboard and shoreside teams.
  • Manage onboarding, succession planning, and talent development for Youth Activities, Entertainment Hosts, and Leadership roles.
  • Oversee documentation, compliance with maritime regulations, and integration with safety/security protocols.
  • Partner with Mgr Entertainment Technical Operations to create and manage eLearning content and technical crew training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and recruiting to build internal and external talent pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs and operational processes.
  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
