Job Description

As a Senior RF Hardware System Designer, you will create and deliver advanced digital, analog, and RF hardware systems utilizing Wi-Fi IC solutions. Your expertise in high-frequency circuit design, RF performance optimization, and customer requirements will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Development: Produce detailed schematics, BOMs, Gerber files, and PCBA specifications.
  • Prototyping: Achieve functioning prototypes within a timeframe of 6-9 months.

Responsibilities Continue:

  • Evaluate and verify system performance to meet the highest standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Execute comprehensive RF and signal parameter testing using spectrum analyzers, power meters, LitePoint, R&S testers, and other relevant tools.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure that all developed systems conform to standards.
  • Production Readiness: Transition systems to production within 3 months post-verification.

Leadership Role:

  • Lead cross-functional teams comprised of engineers from various disciplines.
  • Team Management: Define project architectures, create detailed project plans, and track key milestones.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers in best practices and problem-solving methodologies.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

  • Cultivate strong partnerships with manufacturing teams.
  • Manufacturing Support: Oversee PCBA bring-up, testing, calibration, quality assurance, and production readiness.

Technical Expertise and Challenges:

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • High-Frequency Circuit Design: Create high-frequency circuit designs, optimize RF performance, and address evolving customer requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A proven track record in RF, digital, and analog hardware design.
  • Experience in guiding schematic capture, BOM creation, Gerber file generation, and PCBA bring-up.
  • Proficiency in RF/Wi-Fi system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively guide cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with RF instruments, LitePoint, R&S testers, and Ubuntu platforms.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
