The role of Security Operations Supervisor is critical in maintaining the operational integrity of our Security Control Centre (SCC). This individual will play a key role in driving continuous improvements, ensuring that systems and processes are optimized to meet evolving business needs. They will be responsible for overseeing several technical programs, including Alarm Prioritization Framework, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Technical Risk Register, Change Management, and System Administration.

This position requires strong technical expertise in security systems such as access control, CCTV, mass notification, and IDS. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills. They must be able to convey complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. In addition, they should have excellent communication and diplomacy skills, capable of building strong working relationships and fostering teamwork.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee technical programs including Alarm Prioritization Framework, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Technical Risk Register, Change Management, and System Administration.
  • Ensure that systems are functioning as expected, maintaining a programme of daily, weekly, monthly systems checks.
  • Monitor systems management tools to ensure critical platforms meet predefined benchmarks, helping to maintain optimal efficiency.
  • Support compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Industry recognised accreditation in Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in security systems such as access control, CCTV, mass notification, and IDS.
  • Over five years of corporate security experience, with at least four years at an Analyst/Senior Analyst level managing security systems.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in IT infrastructure and lifecycle management.
