**Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Managing Principal will manage ESC’s Sustainability & Climate Change business line. Generating leads, developing projects, proposal writing, as well as providing project management and technical expertise and leadership for the successful delivery of high-quality SCC projects including the areas of climate risk and ESG, de-carbonization and carbon pricing and science-based target setting and equator principles.

This role will involve mentoring the existing small team of diversified consultants and recruiting/employing others to fulfil your vision for the business. With Singapore being the longest established of ESC’s offices (since 2003), you will play a key role in managing our existing client base, as well as securing new business, building on client opportunities, and growing the SCC team to deliver high quality SCC projects across the whole enterprise. Initially the role will require you to combine strategic direction with a hands-on approach to project delivery, with the primary goal being to deliver a profitable and growing SCC business. You will be a part of ESC’s Senior Team and assist in securing / delivering pan Asia business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day direction of ESC’s SCC business, growth, and profitability.
- Business development and marketing, being instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new company business contracts.
- Representing ESC as the prime contact on SCC contracts.
- Initiating, designing, developing, executing, and implementing projects in collaboration with others ESC offices across Southeast Asia and beyond.
- Setting annual sale targets and working with senior colleagues to deliver these.
- Leading project teams in providing services and/or solutions to complex technical problems, overseeing Client management.
- Developing annual budgets for your business line according to ESC Group budget guidelines, together with forecasts, analysis, monthly financial reports, reviews, etc.; and
- Managing and mentoring the professional development of ESC’s SCC Team, implementing formal quality assurance processes and assisting for staff appraisals.
