**Physiotherapist Role Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to fill this key position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, treating and evaluating residents with various disabilities for optimal care. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing towards increased profile of the department and profession through inter-department interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, treat and evaluate residents/clients with a variety of disabilities for optimal care
  • Lead quality improvement and quality assurance projects, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards
  • Conduct training sessions for therapists, support staff and other health care professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Manage a team of therapy assistants to support the physiotherapy treatment of our residents according to clinical protocols and service standards, including developing the team's competencies and distributing their workload
  • Monitor performance of staff and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Physiotherapy
  • Diploma / Degree in related discipline such as Physiotherapy or a related field
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC)
  • Completed AHPC's training for supervisors on the Supervised Practice Guidelines is an added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively with elderly clients/residents and other healthcare professionals
