IT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview:

An IT Infrastructure Specialist plays a critical role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to support business operations. They will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define network, infrastructure, and equipment requirements.
  • Project Management: Develop comprehensive project plans to meet business needs.
  • End-User Services (EUS): Manage EUS department schedules, dashboard reporting, and endpoint staging.
  • Equipment Procurement and Installation: Oversee procurement, setup, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security measures, provide assistance in security investigations, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Budget and Asset Management: Manage IT equipment budget, forecast expenses, and optimize asset utilization.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and service contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud computing).
  • Experience or relevant certification in helpdesk and deskside support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
