Wholesale Lending Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Wholesale Lending Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the build and development of our loan origination and lifecycle management processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, and transaction management teams.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in wholesale lending, including a deep understanding of legal loan documentation, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, and funds flows. They should also possess high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft-based programs, as well as developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In addition, the successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and continuously follow up with various stakeholders. A deep understanding of operational processes supporting wholesale lending is also desirable.
Key responsibilities will include contributing to the build and development team to support loan origination and lifecycle management, partnering with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc., ensuring quality of data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations, and working with lines of business, transaction management, and loan operations to define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews.
The successful candidate will also take part in loan remediation and loan system testing/migrations, actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions, coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, perform quality control, and appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
