Job Title: Chromium Coating Specialist

This role involves the application of uniform chromium coatings to metal or plastic parts using advanced electroplating processes.

  • Work in a manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for operating and monitoring sophisticated plating equipment and processes to achieve optimal results.
  • You will prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, polishing, and masking as required. Additionally, mix, test, and maintain chemical solutions according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and adherence to plating standards.
  • Troubleshoot plating defects and adjust process parameters to ensure efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records for each batch processed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on plating tanks, equipment, and work areas to ensure operational efficiency and employee safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor advanced electroplating equipment to achieve high-quality chromium coatings.
  • Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, polishing, and masking as required.
  • Test and maintain chemical solutions according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to plating standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to meet customer and production requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electroplating or a related field.
  • Knowledge of plating chemicals, bath preparation, and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and thickness gauges.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
