Barbeque Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic service crew member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a fast-paced barbeque environment, taking orders, handling cash, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Serve Food and Beverages: The ideal candidate will prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take Orders Accurately: Taking orders accurately and handling cash transactions with a high level of integrity is crucial for this role.
  • Maintain a Clean Workspace: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen and dining area, is essential for providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with Dishwashing and Cleaning Duties: The successful candidate will assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as required.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer needs and concerns is vital for success in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a barbeque or food service environment is an asset.
  • Lifting Ability: The ability to lift up to 10kg and stand for long periods of time is required for this role.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective teamwork and customer service.
  • Ability to Multitask: The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

Working Conditions:
  • Schedule: Six days per week, with rotating shifts.
  • Staff Meals: One staff meal provided per shift.
  • Off Day: Off day not fixed.
  • Weekends and Public Holidays: Able to commit on weekends and public holidays.
  • Hours of Work: Minimum 8 hours and 45 minutes per day with a 45-minute break time.
  • Award Days: 14 days Annual Leave and 1 Birthday Leave.
  • Bonuses: 13th Month Bonus and 2 Variable Bonuses based on performance.
