Job Title: Water Systems Engineer


We are seeking a skilled Water Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing water treatment systems.


About the Role
  • Lead mechanical and process engineering tasks including basic and detailed design, equipment sizing, and technical calculations.
  • Develop and review engineering documents such as P&IDs, PFDs, mass balances, hydraulic and pressure drop calculations.
  • Prepare and approve mechanical equipment data sheets, plant layouts, piping arrangements, and skid assembly drawings.
  • Ensure system designs meet contractual performance guarantees and safety standards.
  • Support procurement activities by preparing RFQs and addressing technical clarifications.
  • Draft functional descriptions, control philosophies, and commissioning procedures.
  • Participate in client meetings, HAZOP reviews, and factory acceptance tests.
  • Contribute to proposal reviews during bid preparation and support site commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with hazard area classification and ability to meet tight deadlines.
