**What the role is**
- As an Engineer (Integrated Operations) with Jurong Water Reclamation Plant, your responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
**What you will be working on**
- Plan and execute works for integrated operations covering Greasy Waste Receiving Facilities, Security, Civil and Ground, and Safety.
- Prepare, plan and review the comprehensive inspection and maintenance programs for timely inspections of the civil structures, civil-related works and equipment, which include engaging Qualified Person (QPs) to conduct inspection to building structure and water tanks, ensuring building rectification repaired according to QP’s recommendation, carrying out routine inspections of trees by Arborist, roofs inspection, firefighting equipment maintenance, mandatory water tank inspection and certification, bicycles inspection.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports that include dengue, water consumption, waste collection, sustainability report etc.
- Monitor the visitors’ and contractors’ movements and the readiness of the plant’s security system. Liaise on security follow ups or updates pertaining to security.
- Prepare, plan and review the maintenance budget, and ensure expenditure is utilised in accordance with plan.
- Lead, supervise, motivate and provide guidance to the team members to achieve plant’s mission and objective.
- Facilitate, liaise and communicate with staff and Contractors to achieve works targets and timeline, resolve technical issues.
- Prepare specifications, scope of works and cost estimates, and call tenders and quotations for maintenance and repair works.
- Ensure follow up on procurement requirements that include raising Purchase Orders and Works Orders, generating Good Receipt Notes and Completion Certificates.
- Ensure safety standards of works carried out in the plant by providing safe work briefing to the contract workers, conduct regular safety inspection and prepare Notification/ Permit to Work. Prepare and review risk assessments and safe work procedures.
- Prepare, plan, coordinate and execute projects to enhance operations, health and safety, and improve energy efficiency and productivity.
**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering or relevant Engineering Discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant or related working experience in the environment and water sector is preferred.
- Sufficiently proficient in common computer skills - e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Able to work in used water treatment environment
- Working location will be in Water Reclamation Plant (Non-Shift)
