We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales & Business Development Team.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for expanding our merchant network by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new restaurant partners. This involves:
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential restaurant partners through market research, industry insights, and networking.
- Sales and negotiation: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to approach prospective restaurant partners, conducting presentations and pitches to present convincing business cases, and negotiating terms and conditions of merchant agreements.
- Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective restaurant partners, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.
- Compliance and documentation: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the partner acquisition process.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying potential restaurant partners through market research, industry insights, and networking.
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to approach prospective restaurant partners.
- Conducting presentations and pitches to present convincing business cases.
- Negotiating terms and conditions of merchant agreements, including pricing, fees, and contractual terms.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective restaurant partners, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the partner acquisition process.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A diploma in any field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to use data and analytics while building client conversations.
- Self-motivation and a strong affinity for problem-solving.
