About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for expanding our merchant network by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new restaurant partners. This involves:

  • Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential restaurant partners through market research, industry insights, and networking.
  • Sales and negotiation: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to approach prospective restaurant partners, conducting presentations and pitches to present convincing business cases, and negotiating terms and conditions of merchant agreements.
  • Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective restaurant partners, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Compliance and documentation: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the partner acquisition process.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Identifying potential restaurant partners through market research, industry insights, and networking.
  2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to approach prospective restaurant partners.
  3. Conducting presentations and pitches to present convincing business cases.
  4. Negotiating terms and conditions of merchant agreements, including pricing, fees, and contractual terms.
  5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective restaurant partners, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the partner acquisition process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A diploma in any field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to use data and analytics while building client conversations.
  • Self-motivation and a strong affinity for problem-solving.
