The Strategic Health Analytics Lead will spearhead a team of data analysts, scientists, statisticians, and economists in harnessing artificial intelligence, machine learning, operations research, systems modelling, geospatial analytics, forecasting, econometrics, visualisation, and primary research to underpin the Ministry of Health's (MOH) policy formulation and review, service planning, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a team to communicate timely and actionable insights through effective channels to support policymakers in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Develop, refine, and implement the Programme Evaluation Framework across the MOH Family, including evaluation of health programmes.
  • Scope, coordinate, and deliver analytics work for MOH Divisions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Health Analytics functions or applications of Data Analytics in various domains within Health or Public sector.
  • Bachelor/Master degree in a quantitative discipline: Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics/Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience using data analysis tools like Stata/R/Python to solve real-world problems.
  • Able to take a broad, strategic perspective while drilling deep to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management skills.
  • Organised, structured, and meticulous individual.
  • Good analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
