Job Opportunity

To excel in this role, you will be responsible for assisting the public relations and recruitment team in promoting our services and programs. Your key objectives include coordinating foster parent recruitment activities at various locations, creating engaging content for social media, and assisting with marketing plan execution to effectively promote our services and programs.

  • Coordinate and execute foster parent recruitment or outreach activities at various locations.
  • Create regular content and maintain the social media presence of our organization.
  • Assist with the execution of the marketing plan to effectively market our services and programs.
  • Assist the Senior Executive in designing marketing materials and collateral.
  • Ensure that marketing materials and collateral are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews of foster parent recruitment strategies with the Head of our organization.
  • Prepare key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools - post-event analysis, generate marketing-related reports.

Administration Tasks:

  • Support and assist the Senior Executive in recruiting foster parents.
  • Assist the Senior Executive in facilitating the screening process of foster parent applicants.
  • Assist the Senior Executive in ensuring that all documentation relating to the Foster Parent Assessment Report is completed and filled in a timely manner.
  • Enroll newly approved foster parents for compulsory foster parent training.
  • Track marketing expenditure and ensure spending is within budget.
  • Process invoices and maintain tracking of expenses with the Finance department.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as vendors, suppliers, partner organizations, contractors and other professionals.
  • Answer, forward and screen phone calls & follow up with the public in relation to fostering matters in a professional manner.
  • Track and document all inquiries from the public in a report format.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

Organizational Requirements:

  • Participate actively in all fundraising activities as well as any other commitments that our organization undertakes.
  • Work in close collaboration with other staff, department and components of our organization.
  • The Executive Director and/or his/her representative may assign you any other duties that are within reason for the benefit of our clients and/or our organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a similar field.
  • Prior experience in Marketing Assistant related roles is preferred.
  • Relevant experience with marketing software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, Canva, Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro is preferred.
