**Job Opportunity: Resident Technical Officer**

Job Description

The Resident Technical Officer is a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction works on site. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance to consultants and clients in supervising and quality-assuring construction works.
  • Ensuring that installation methods and materials meet contract specifications by conducting thorough inspections and assessments.
  • Liaising with contractors to coordinate site works, ensuring seamless project execution.

  • Maintaining work safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the site to prevent accidents and ensure a healthy working environment.

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registration with relevant authorities as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S).
  • Location: Changi East, with convenient access to public transportation.
  • Work schedule: 5.5 days per week, 44 hours, with no shifts or overtime required.

This project involves simple building/Army camp works requiring government clearance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in water, construction, quality control, quality assurance, interpersonal skills, architectural assurance, electrical, structural engineering, compliance, project management, project coordination, civil engineering, commissioning, and facilities management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications to be considered for this role:

  • Registration with IES as a Resident Technical Officer (C&S).
  • Proven experience in construction management, quality control, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
