This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Director, People Partner, working closely with business leaders in-market and Global People counterparts to advise on people strategies for markets in line with the overall business growth strategy and market-specific goals.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in a global business/context preferred.
  • They will possess outstanding proficiency in mentoring, influencing, and team building, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The role requires effective relationship building with various partners within a large, sophisticated global organization.
Responsibilities:

The Senior Director, People Partner will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring robust adherence to McDonald's people brand standards in Asia markets by leveraging global employer reputation strategies and participating in best practice sharing across the IDLM;
  • Collaborating with business leaders in-market and Global People counterparts to advise on people strategies for markets in line with the overall business growth strategy and market-specific goals;
  • Leveraging people analytics and industry data across the market to yield specific insights on ways to improve GP programming and talent management practices;
  • Completing business reviews (on a 1 or 2-year cycle) for Asia markets to assess strength of market and its people practices;
  • Identifying talent related gaps that are driving operational inefficiencies and defining mitigation strategies for people-related risks, including staffing and retention strategies;
  • Providing coaching and consultation on request to senior business leaders & market HR teams about all people-related opportunities, challenges, and change efforts;
  • Providing guidance and existing Global People standards for programming and maintaining awareness of large shifts in GP programs/strategy and proactively leveraging expertise to coach leaders through change;
  • Overseeing full suite of HR services for McDonald's IDLM hub offices (Hong Kong, Singapore).
