Special Education Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adjunct Educator to join our team in transforming the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a positive impact on the educational outcomes of students who require additional support.

The successful candidate will be assigned teaching duties and other responsibilities as needed, contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional excellence, holistic student development, and partnerships with stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum and Instructional Excellence
    • Design engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with ASD.
    • Implement evidence-based pedagogy and meaningful activities to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Develop effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide accurate feedback.
    • Contribute to the improvement of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment to elevate teaching and learning.
  • Holistic Student Development
    • Foster strong relationships with students through empathy, care, and encouragement.
    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students' attainment of goals.
    • Establish positive classroom routines and practices to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
    • Implement behavior management techniques to address complex behaviors.
    • Respond effectively to emergency situations to ensure student safety.
  • Partnerships and Stakeholder Management
    • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including families and caregivers, to support students and school initiatives.
    • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to promote desired educational outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Professional teaching qualification (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Education or Diploma in Special Education)
  • Trained candidates with Ministry of Education experience teaching English, Mathematics, or Science are preferred
