About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in architectural drafting, shop drawing creation, and material selection. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors on fabrication and installation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope Review: Review and comprehend project scope of work and technical specifications.
  • Shop Drawing Creation: Create detailed shop drawings based on design intent, project requirements, and material availability.
  • Fabrication Drawings: Prepare fabrication drawings, bills of material, and issue them for procurement and production.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors on fabrication and installation processes.
  • Timely Completion: Attend regular technical meetings and site visits to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Approval Coordination: Work closely with architects, main contractors, consultants, and structural engineers to obtain approval of shop drawings and coordinate structural calculations.
  • Value Engineering: Provide value-engineering proposals to the project team and identify potential design issues.
  • Correspondence: Maintain accurate correspondence records and adhere to industry standards and ISO requirements.
