Operations Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Leader to join our team. As a Manager of Terminal Operations, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the safe, efficient, and environmentally conscious operation of our terminal.

Your primary focus will be on leading and managing a team of operations employees to achieve business objectives within budgeted funds, cost-effectiveness, and manpower planning. You will also ensure the smooth and safe day-to-day operations of the terminal, including managing resources, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing energy and cost-saving initiatives.

As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices. You will also possess knowledge of safety, health, and environment practices, as well as experience in leading diverse teams and making strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the terminal to ensure quality services and outputs
  • Lead and manage operations employees to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environment regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve organizational goals
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-9 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a terminal or industrial setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environment practices
  • Experience in leading diverse teams and making strategic decisions
