**Quality Assurance Director Job Description**

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Director is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and results of our quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety & environment functions. They will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead a team to maintain a high-performance work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. We develop, implement, monitor and improve our quality framework and standard operating procedures to meet industry best practices.
  2. We are responsible for implementing and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, conducting risk assessments and managing quality specifications, documentation and procedures.
  3. We drive projects and initiatives to meet food quality, safety and hygiene standards by working closely with production teams.
  4. We support the production team in troubleshooting and resolving product quality issues through collaborative problem-solving.
  5. We investigate all food safety, quality and non-compliance issues, and implement corrective actions with follow-up measures.

We conduct regular training sessions on food safety, hygiene and HACCP for production employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement.
