Job Title: Patient Safety and Quality Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement hospital-wide safety culture engagement and training programs based on healthcare patient safety and quality frameworks.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and evaluate best practices in healthcare safety culture for implementation and scale up/spread.
  • Create and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, champions, and advocates to inculcate a culture of safety and quality improvement.
  • Plan and facilitate the development and implementation of measures related to organizational safety climate.
  • Perform relevant data analysis and provide insights on safety climate to facilitate hospital management decision making and action.
  • Facilitate or provide expert consultation for safety improvement efforts using known methodologies and relevant domain knowledge.
Requirements
  • Relevant post-graduate Masters with 3 years relevant working experience OR relevant Degree/general Degree with relevant certification with 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Patient Safety, Human Factors, Risk Management, Safety Leadership & Management, Healthcare Quality, Systems Thinking, and relevant Safety Sciences expertise.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Project management skills to develop and lead programs.
  • Facilitation and strong communication skills, written and verbal to engage staff at all levels.
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to lead or guide members within the department.
  • Possesses initiative and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills or data analysis and visualization tools are an advantage.
