Job Overview

The role of an Architectural Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with architectural services and other trades on-site.

  • Effective management of architectural work scheduling, material procurement, cost control, project oversight, and documentation is crucial to the success of the project.
  • Close collaboration with the project team is necessary to implement, monitor, and review the construction management plan.
  • Supervising and inspecting all architectural work performed by sub-contractors is vital to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to architectural specifications and maintaining quality standards are essential responsibilities of the Architectural Coordinator.
  • Developing and maintaining beneficial relationships between the project and stakeholders, including subcontractors, community, and external parties, is critical to the project's success.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural, and system-wide contractors is a key aspect of this role.
  • Studying drawings and coordinating architectural works with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical/site issues is essential to resolving problems efficiently.
  • Ensuring that architectural works are carried out according to specifications/drawings is critical to maintaining quality standards.
  • Informing the Project Director/Project Manager on any technical/site problems pertaining to architectural works is necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Coordinating sub-contractor's architectural work and ensuring timely completion is crucial to meeting project deadlines.
  • Ensuring compliance with architectural specifications and achieving quality aspects without deviation from authority requirements is essential to maintaining quality standards.
  • Carrying out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation according to the master programme is critical to the project's success.
Requirements
  • A degree in Architecture, preferably recognized by BOA, is essential for this role.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Design & Build building projects is required.
  • Good knowledge of architectural specifications, MEP coordination works, and requirements is necessary.
  • Strong leadership skills and commitment towards the role are essential.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges is necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration are critical to the success of the project.
