Job Title: Infrastructure Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Systems Specialist to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their career in IT infrastructure and work closely with senior team members to coordinate and assist in setting up and maintaining systems, environments, and automation tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure timely execution of setup tasks.
  • Track progress and follow up on infrastructure-related activities and issues.
  • Assist in coordinating Operating System upgrades across environments.
  • Support the scheduling and execution of patching activities.
  • Help document upgrade and patching procedures.
  • Coordinate the setup of secure file transfer protocols and SSH keys for secure access.
  • Assist in generating and setting up SSH keys for secure access.
  • Ensure proper documentation of connectivity configurations.
  • Support the creation and monitoring of Control-M jobs.
  • Work with relevant teams to gather job requirements and dependencies.
  • Maintain logs and reports of job executions and failures.
  • Help provision and configure development, testing, and production environments.
  • Ensure environmental readiness by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Document environment specifications and changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Basic understanding of operating systems and IT infrastructure and Network concepts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Analysis and troubleshooting skills in handling incidents and issues.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment.
  • At least 5 years working technical experience in setting up infra, connectivity in a banking environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Windows systems.
  • Exposure to job scheduling tools like Control-M.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL scripting, PowerShell, and batch script.
  • Understanding of secure file transfer protocols and SSH, Connect Direct.
  • Understanding of DevOps, Jenkins, Big Bucket.
  • Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms, Shell scripting.
  • Experience with databases like MSSQL and Oracle.
  • Experience in Dev-Ops concepts and tools.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integration with MQ, microservices, and high-volume batch processing.
  • Experience source control and release management tools.
