The role of a Youth Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator is pivotal in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit amongst youths and supporting those embarking on their own entrepreneurial journey.
Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to the youth entrepreneurship sub-committee, ensuring seamless coordination of activities and initiatives.
- Committee Support: Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement programs that promote youth entrepreneurship.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate connections between youths, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, providing developmental opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Event Planning: Organize and execute the annual National Youth Entrepreneurship Awards (NYEA), showcasing the best entrepreneurial endeavors in the country.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, creating opportunities for collaborative projects and joint ventures.
- Track the effectiveness of our youth entrepreneurship programs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic changes.
- Degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of work experience in a similar capacity, with fresh graduates also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated commitment to detail-oriented work and exceptional work ethics.
- Passion for entrepreneurship and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and trends.
