Key Strategic Investor Relations Professional

This is a senior leadership role requiring exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to shape capital raising strategy, build trusted relationships with institutional investors, and elevate the firm's profile across the private capital and impact investing ecosystems.

Job Description

This high-impact position involves leading fundraising initiatives across current and upcoming funds. The successful candidate will develop and manage fundraising materials, investor presentations, and data rooms while identifying, building, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership on fund structuring and positioning aligned with financial and impact goals. They will serve as the primary contact for existing and prospective investors, delivering timely and transparent communications including reports, newsletters, and investor updates.

Responsibilities include coordinating due diligence processes and managing investor queries, as well as building relationships with co-investors, accelerators, corporates, and ecosystem partners. The successful candidate will identify partnership opportunities that enhance firm visibility, deal flow, and brand positioning, and represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and through thought leadership.

Overseeing external communications strategy, the successful candidate will collaborate with marketing to enhance brand presence and investor engagement. This includes amplifying the firm's voice as a regional leader in impact investing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital raising, or private markets with PE/VC firms.
  • Proven track record of building and managing institutional and private investor relationships.
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on fundraising activities.
  • Familiarity with impact investing, ESG frameworks, or thematic investing is an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial, mission-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
