Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Supervisor to join our team at TECNICAS REUNIDAS, S.A. (SINGAPORE BRANCH). As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for overseeing the precommissioning work of rotating equipment, ensuring that all testing and inspection commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with project schedules and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Precommissioning Work: Oversee the precommissioning work of rotating equipment, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made for commissioning activities.
  • Commissioning Activities: Monitor and supervise all commissioning activities, including testing and inspection, to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with project schedules and requirements.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise subcontractors' activities, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with project schedules and requirements.
  • Schedule Management: Daily monitor and supervise all activities to ensure compliance with project schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist and support the Quality Assurance team in performing inspections and function tests in the mechanical area.
  • Commissioning Planning: Regularly plan and coordinate with the construction department to rank commissioning activities in piping and rotating equipment.
  • Project Progress Control: Responsible for supervising corresponding subcontractors and preparing required information for effective project progress control.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Follow and implement the CRISP HSE program, collaborate with Exxon initiatives.
  • Procedure Development: Prepare, review, and develop commissioning working procedures. Collaborate with subcontractors to elaborate Method of Statement for precommissioning works.
  • Work Execution: Monitor and verify that work execution and implementation are in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Punch List Closure: Monitor closure of punch lists as appropriate.
  • Piping Preservation: Flush and preserve piping at site as per approved procedures.
  • Final Inspection and Approval: Liaise with Client's Engineer for final inspection and approval of installed piping and equipment closure box-up.
  • Progress Review: Attend daily progress review meetings.
  • Document Control: Maintain day-to-day activity records.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum diploma in Engineering or other relevant technical field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs, which require extensive walking, climbing, and working at heights.
  • Software Skills: Knowledge of software in database, drawing, and scheduling programs (user level).
  • Cleaning Technologies: Knowledge of chemical and mechanical cleaning technologies, means, and methods.
  • Commissioning Experience: Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to commissioning field activities.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 60 hours per week.
  • Work Location: Jurong Island.
