Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team at Quest Global Services Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing mechanical deliverables, preparing related FEED and procurement engineering documents, and conducting technical bid evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliverables and Documentation
    • Establish mechanical deliverables, prepare related FEED and procurement engineering documents, such as Equipment Specification, Mechanical Datasheet, Technical Requisition, and SDRL.
    • Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE), prepare TBE reports, and review VCDs independently for Topside Rotating Equipment.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Initiate discussions with team members, engineering teams, subcontractors, and consultants on technical issues and design solutions.
    • Attend to technical queries and issues related to mechanical design and review deliverables.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Liaise with owners, statutory, and classification authorities for design compliance review and approval.
    • Generate reports on work progress and submit to Lead Engineer for review.
  • Subcontractor and Vendor Management
    • Monitor the progress of subcontractors and vendors, providing guidance to deliver required documents.
  • Design and Analysis
    • Provide mechanical input to Process, Layout, and EICT teams for detailed calculations, analysis, and solutions.
  • Team Support and Development
    • Work with other engineering team members to achieve functional objectives and deadlines.
    • Support various engineering projects to promote cross-functional learning and development.
  • HSEQ Management
    • Incorporate HSEQ work cultures and best practices to ensure successful implementation of HSEQ management systems.
    • Maintain and execute HSEQ procedures, policies, and programs, driving continuous improvement through risk-based thinking and analysis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
    • Minimum 6 years of working experience in planning, designing, and construction of mechanical design in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Possesses knowledge of Classification Requirements, API 610, 614, 616, 617, 618, 619, 670, 671, 674, 675, 676, 682, 685, ASME PTC, ISO 5199, and other related rotating equipment design standards.
    • Possesses understanding of rotating equipment working principles, control logic, operation, and maintenance requirements.

    • Tuas, Singapore.
  • Transportation
    • Islandwide transport provided at employee's cost.
  • Working Hours
    • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 5:15 pm.
    • Friday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm.
