Job Title: Rotating Engineer Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Engineer Lead to join our team at Quinnox Solutions Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design and development of mechanical scope projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Engineer role for mechanical scope projects
  • Perform all engineering design assignments, including API Pumps, Compressors, Blowers, Turbines, Machinery, and Package Equipment
  • Checker role for department rotating/package deliverables
  • Prepare specifications, data sheets, and inquiry documents
  • Perform all discipline engineering assignments and design work
  • Perform technical bid evaluation
  • Mechanical handling and movement study
  • Coordinate with disciplines for layout
  • Review of vendor documentation and vendor management
  • Provide technical requirements and assessment for inspection and QC-related matters
  • Participate in site surveys, HAZOPs, and various workshops
  • Participate in FATs, shop inspections, and provide technical support during construction and pre-commissioning stages
  • Handle interface matters and coordinate with relevant parties
  • Must be ready to work at construction sites and be ready for working overseas upon request
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 12 to 15 years of experience in the industry
  • Has onsite experience for field engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Shell DEPs, Exxon GPs, Chevron CES, and GMPs design is an added advantage
  • Familiar with and have experience with pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines, and other industrial package equipment
  • Possess ability to interpret client requirements, identify deviations, and coordinate for resolutions
  • Demonstrates the ability to verify own product for error-free output and draft technical resolutions for issues, communicate interface matters timely to various disciplines
  • Experience to lead an amalgamated team of engineers working in different locations
  • Competent in English language and proficient in MS Office programs
  • Competent in planning and coordination with relevant parties both internal and external
