Job Title: Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled content creator to lead the development of impactful speeches, content across platforms, and targeted email campaigns to enhance alumni engagement and support new alumni onboarding.

The successful candidate will have a creative mindset, excellent writing and editing skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop powerful speeches for university leaders to deliver at major events, alumni gatherings, and official functions.
  • Lead content creation across websites, email, and collateral materials, ensuring clear and engaging messaging.
  • Design and implement targeted email campaigns to promote alumni events, programmes, and initiatives, and foster alumni loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Global and Local Engagement teams to source content, brainstorm ideas, and coordinate editorial projects.
  • Evaluate content consistency with NUS branding guidelines and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital communications, content creation, or similar roles, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, producing engaging and audience-specific content that resonates with the alumni community.
  • Creative mindset with innovative ideas and content that promotes a lifelong relationship between the university and its alumni.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Good analytical skills, using data and insights for informed decisions and enhancing content effectiveness.
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently.
