
Senior Assistant Manager, Alumni Engagement

The NTU University Advancement Office (UAO) supports the University’s giving mission by fostering meaningful relationships and strategic partnerships with philanthropists, alumni, business community partners, corporations, foundations and friends that result in goodwill and philanthropy towards education and research that underpin a shared sustainable future.
Our Office is seeking to hire an alumni relations professional to identify, develop and manage alumni services initiatives, leverage alumni and industry partners’ network, and align University Advancement Office (UAO) resources with NTU Stakeholder needs in alumni engagement. The Senior Assistant Manager would partner and support alumni programmes in collaboration with Schools in NTU to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the goals of the University.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage alumni services programmes identified by management.
- Drive identification, recruitment and management of volunteers, industry partners and resources associated with alumni services, e.g. in career and professional development.
- Facilitate and support the alumni engagement programmes of UAO, various schools and alumni associations assigned to the Senior Assistant Manager’s portfolio.
- Support the Senior Assistant Director in resource planning, coordinating reports, proposals, and analyses for management.
- Coordinate alumni services task force/steering committee meetings.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in industry partnerships, career services, skills and professional development.
- Possess strong stakeholder management, project and/or vendor management skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and excellent writing skills.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of sensitive information and act with discretion.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan work activities in an organised manner.
- Capable of remaining calm and effective under pressure.
- Positive and flexible over working hours when required.
