Senior Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Specialist to work on high-profile projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead infrastructure monitoring standardization and resource optimization initiatives;
  • Oversee the creation and availability of real-time infrastructure metrics and alerts reports for stakeholders;
  • Establish key performance indicators to track infrastructure monitoring effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Supervise and manage a team of service providers to ensure delivery of quality infrastructure services;
  • Collaborate effectively with vendor Delivery Managers and technical support staff;
  • Ability to work closely with various line of business technologies from junior to management level;
  • Implement change governance processes for production implementation;
  • Provide 24x7 operational support as part of a rotating on-call duty schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;
  • 4-5 years of experience with Monitoring tools like Netcool and Zabbix Unix/Linux/Wintel platforms;
  • Minimum 5 years IT experience in a bank with 3 years' experience in Scripting and web development;
  • Experience in Shell, Python and Perl scripts is required;
  • Experience in Automation and web reports using AJAX, HTML and JS Frameworks;
  • Experience with various monitoring tools like IBM ITM Tivoli, Netcool, Zabbix and Elastic Search;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
