We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the lifecycle of electrical systems across our data center portfolio, ensuring 24/7 uptime and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement electrical systems strategy across multi-site data centers, aligned with relevant standards such as Green Mark and SS 564.
- Oversee and validate medium/low voltage systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, and power monitoring platforms to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Review and approve electrical design packages, commissioning protocols, and lifecycle plans in coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC, and local building codes; support root cause analysis and audit readiness.
- Execute and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Monitor and Operate Procedures (MOPs), monitor vendor performance, and uphold service-level expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Building Management Systems (BMS) platforms, optimize energy usage, and support capacity planning.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical systems within mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, semiconductor fabs, etc.)
- Proven expertise in power system design, redundancy planning, and electrical infrastructure commissioning.
- Familiarity with Tier III/IV data center standards, Uptime Institute protocols, and electrical reliability modeling.
- Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platforms, SCADA/BMS integration, and power quality analysis tools.
