High Voltage Power Converter Specialist

Description:
This position plays a key role in the design, simulation, and implementation of advanced control algorithms for high-voltage power converters. As a Control Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing digital control strategies for multi-stage power electronic systems. This involves creating real-time embedded control code using languages like C/C++ or model-based design with MATLAB/Simulink.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement control algorithms for AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC power electronic systems.
- Develop and simulate control strategies using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to integrate and optimize control performance.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and tuning of control loops for stability, transient response, and harmonic mitigation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical hardware design and controls engineering.
- Proficiency in control system design, analysis, and simulation tools.
- Strong programming skills in languages like C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with HIL testing and control system validation.
