Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced commodities sales professional to join our team. This role involves developing and growing a portfolio of clients in the commodities trading sector, identifying new business opportunities, and presenting customized airfreight solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the commodity supply chain, including regulatory compliance, documentation, customs, and valuation procedures. They will also be able to advise clients on best practices in airfreight security, cargo insurance, airport handling, and IATA/ICAO regulations.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients in the commodity sector. The individual will work closely with operations and carriers to ensure secure handling and time-critical deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow a portfolio of clients in the commodities trading sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities with commodity exporters, importers, or high-value supply chain clients.
  • Present customized airfreight solutions for the movement of valuable and time-sensitive commodities.
  • Prepare competitive proposals and negotiate contracts to close new business.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the commodity supply chain, including regulatory compliance, documentation, customs, and valuation procedures.
  • Advise clients on best practices in airfreight security, cargo insurance, airport handling, and IATA/ICAO regulations.
  • C coordinate closely with operations and carriers to ensure secure handling and time-critical deliveries.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the commodity sector.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience.
