We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Engineer to develop, validate, characterize, and qualify Micron's next-generation memory products.

  • This role involves pivotal technical tasks directly impacting market readiness of our products.
  • Optimized test coverage for current and future design architectures is crucial for maintaining efficiency in high-volume manufacturing.
  • The role provides support for design verification and in-depth circuit analysis using CAD tools and Verilog simulations.
  • Improving manufacturing test yields, reducing test time, and resolving yield-related issues are critical activities for cost reduction and meeting yield targets.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various teams is vital for holistic development and shipping of end products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for product development and validation.
  • Ensure optimized test coverage for all current and future design architectures.
  • Provide support for design verification and in-depth circuit analysis.
  • Improve manufacturing test yields and reduce test time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in bench/lab tools for device characterization, electrical failure analysis, and fault isolation.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor memory product design, including circuitry, layout, firmware, CMOS devices, Cell technology, and Device Physics.
  • Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis for memory product design and wafer fabrication issues.
  • Experienced in design-for-test methodologies and capable of devising targeted test algorithms and flows.
  • Capable of identifying patterns and anomalies in large datasets and applying domain-specific knowledge to make meaningful interpretation.
  • Good understanding of ML/AI/Automation concepts and experience in hands-on ML/AI/Automation projects.
  • Strong growth mindset, able to embrace changes and continue learning in fast-paced technology development.
