Job Summary:

A visionary leader is sought after to spearhead a high-performing team, driving innovation and excellence in the development of next-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products. As a key principal engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge HBM solutions, leveraging expertise in circuit debug, test coverage optimization, and strategy innovation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for problem-solving with root cause understanding. They will be responsible for optimizing test coverage, product development, and validation, as well as promoting innovation and driving change within the organization.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Fab, Technology Development, Design, Test Solution Engineering, and Quality/Reliability. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results-driven projects, with a focus on quality, cost, cycle time, and scale.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimized Test Coverage: Ensure optimized test coverage on all current and future HIG HBM design architectures and process nodes.
  • Product Development and Validation: Develop, validate, characterize, and qualify Micron's next-generation HBM products.
  • Support for New Product Design Validation: Provide technical support for design verification and in-depth circuit analysis using CAD tools and Verilog simulations.
  • Yield Improvement and Cost Reduction: Improve manufacturing test yields, reduce test time, and resolve yield-related issues.
  • Promotion of Innovation: Drive innovation and promote change to provide Micron with a technical advantage over its competition.
  • Mentorship and Development of Others: Develop and mentor others to drive growth and development within the team and organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and technical expertise.
  • Passion for problem-solving with root cause understanding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams.
