In today's fast-paced digital landscape, companies are looking for individuals who can bridge the gap between development and operations. As a DevOps Engineer at our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless collaboration between teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive automation, standardization, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automation, standardisation, compliance, and best practices, with experience in configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc. Additionally, familiarity with AWS resources, including Load balancers, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, etc., is highly desirable. Experience with relevant CI tools/technologies, such as TeamCity, Github, Gitlab, will also be beneficial.
We are seeking an expert who can implement cost-optimization strategies through cloud-native best practices, while ensuring infrastructure and services meet compliance standards. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with Agile methodologies and will have excellent communication skills to work closely with development teams.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, is required. Relevant industry certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Engineer, CKA, will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:- Instituting and promoting continuous integration/delivery practices within the development team.
- Working with hosting and/or cloud providers to set up application environments and enable smooth and efficient application deployments.
- Developing scripts and making use of continuous integration tools to automate build, software release, and application deployment.
- Provisioning and managing servers, virtual machines, application containers, software licenses, and other related resources for the development team.
- Conducting system-level security scans, hardening systems and application platforms.
- Managing the operations of cloud infrastructure and application services in production environments.
- Ensuring infrastructure and services meet compliance standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST frameworks) while driving automation, standardization, and best practices.
- Possess a strong passion for automation, standardisation, compliance, and best practices.
- Have experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Familiarity with AWS resources, including Load balancers, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, etc.
- Experience with relevant CI tools/technologies, such as TeamCity, Github, Gitlab.
- Strong knowledge of system administration and scripting on Unix, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills.
