Job Title: Deputy Project Manager

R.J. CROCKER CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Deputy Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage project activities, including site visits, meetings, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with project team members, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure that projects are being delivered in accordance with the project plan and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.
  • Manage and maintain project records, including project files, documents, and reports.
  • Provide support and guidance to project team members, including training and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, project team members, and clients.
  • Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Asana.
  • Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.
