LPG Vessel Operator

This role entails supporting and overseeing commercial and operational activities for assigned LPG vessels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Main point of contact for assigned LPG vessels, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitoring daily vessel operations to ensure compliance with charter-party terms and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Maintaining up-to-date trading and cargo information for each vessel, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Managing billing and invoicing processes for charter hire, bunkers, brokerage, and related expenses, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
  • Supporting commercial, ship financing, and registration-related matters to drive business growth and success.
  • Tracking vessel movements and coordinating voyage execution from pre-fixture planning to post-fixture claims and demurrage, ensuring smooth navigation through complex logistical challenges.
  • Ensuring clear communication and legal compliance of voyage orders, adhering to industry regulations and standards.
  • Coordinating port agents, port fees, and disbursement account approvals to optimize vessel operations and minimize costs.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and on time, maintaining a high level of organizational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in gas vessel operations or commercial shipping, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry and its complexities.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial shipping industry, specifically LPG carriers (LNG will be considered), with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners, driving business growth and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and operational processes, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) as a primary language of communication.
  • Eligibility to work in Singapore as a local candidate.
