Laptop Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laptop Technician to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of laptop hardware issues. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnosis and troubleshooting of laptop hardware issues.
  • Dismantle and reassemble laptops to perform repairs on necessary parts.
  • Handle defective parts and return them to the supplier.
  • Update repair status and communicate with customers regarding the progress of their repair.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support with a focus on laptop repair and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, and other common desktop applications.
