  • This is an exciting opportunity to work as a technical expert in the field of molding and tooling.

    • Proficiency with various forming and stamping equipment, including vertical/horizontal electric or hydraulic forming machines.
    • Experience in designing, using, maintaining, and troubleshooting jigs and fixtures for mechanical components.
    • Ability to interpret and evaluate mechanical part drawings for dimensions, tolerances, and cosmetic requirements.
    • Knowledge of mechanical component design, structural specifications, and problem-solving.
    • Familiarity with CNC/IM process flows, including machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting of mechanical and material issues.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Education: A degree in mechanical design, manufacturing, or a related field.
    • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plastic injection molding machines, including both single-shot and multi-shot molding.
    • Materials & Process Experience: Foundational knowledge of plastic materials is required. Experience with plastic injection molding is preferred, and experience with vertical insert molding is a plus.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in dimensional analysis of molded parts and troubleshooting issues related to part appearance, raw materials, and molds.
    • Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using hot runner systems, oil temperature controllers, robotic arms, and vertical insert molding machines.
    • Software Proficiency: Proficient in 2D/3D CAD and Microsoft Office software.
    • Language Skills: Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.
    • Soft Skills: Must be proactive and possess strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with upstream and downstream teams.
