About Us

  • We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join our team as a Startup Scouter. This role will involve identifying and nurturing high-potential founders across Southeast Asia.
  • You will work closely with founders during the startup residency, supporting them as they develop their ideas into scalable businesses. Additionally, you'll contribute to conducting due diligence on startups, assessing their investment potential, and supporting the growth and success of our portfolio companies.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, attract, and build strong relationships with high-potential founders across Southeast Asia, managing outreach campaigns, founder interviews, and pipeline tracking.
  2. Work closely with founders during the startup residency, helping them refine ideas, form teams, and prepare for the investment committee.
  3. Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective startups, analyze their business models and markets, and prepare investment recommendations for decision-making.
  4. Support the growth and fundraising efforts of existing portfolio companies by collaborating with senior investment team members on operational and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • You have several years of work experience and a strong track-record in the startup ecosystem, either as a startup founder or in the VC sector.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines, ambiguity, and a drive to support innovation.
  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Organized and execution-focused, adept at managing multiple processes, working independently, and delivering results.
  • Collaborative and influential, excels in teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ambitious and results-oriented, committed to shaping the company's future and achieving high-impact goals.
  • Analytical problem-solver with strong business model thinking and understanding of technology trends, including AI.
  • Proven experience with over five years in venture capital, consulting, financial services, or high-growth startups.
  • Education from a top-tier university.
