Job Title: Technical Team Lead

About the Role:

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee technical maintenance services in critical client environments. The successful candidate will have expertise in preventative maintenance, complex corrective repairs, and building-specific safety procedure manuals.

The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate and manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. They will also be responsible for implementing improvements for preventive maintenance programs, maintaining effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals, and coordinating maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel, and technicians.

The team lead will oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues. They must remain current with the latest technology trends and be able to guide ongoing communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team, and vendors.

The role requires strong organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and the ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
  • Training in a technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Journeyman/Electrician or HVAC license, preferred, and state and local licensures, where required.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention, preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
  • Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Must meet the physical requirements of this role.
