Speech Therapist Role

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to assess, diagnose and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education to patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals on communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives and programs that aim to improve quality patient care and clinical education.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent, or MSc in Speech and Language Pathology (No experience candidate-entry level), or MSc / MA in Speech-Language Pathology (U.S.A) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council and valid membership with local professional body/association preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to build trusting relationships with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
