The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To oversee kitchen operations, ensuring all food meets high standards of quality and presentation.
  2. To procure, select, inspect, and prepare ingredients according to established specifications.
  3. To track inventory stock in the kitchen and conduct daily orders.
  4. To manage other employees in the kitchen, promoting a harmonious work environment.
  5. To act as liaison to front-of-house employees, guaranteeing proper food service temperature.
  6. To season food according to recipes or company needs.
  7. To operate various kitchen appliances, including blenders, ovens, and grills.
  8. To portion, arrange, and garnish food based on client preference.
  9. To direct and lead the food assembly process, maintaining consistency in standards.
  10. To conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant equipment.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in western cuisine.
  • Good experience in kitchen operation and knowledge of good hygiene practices.
  • Willingness to work long hours and OT when required.
  • Understanding of western spices and flavor profiles.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
